The Red Head Festival was founded right here in Warren, born in the mind of a true visionary, Matt MacGregor, owner and operator of Urban Tap and clearly a man unafraid to dream big. The inaugural festival kicks off on May 16, 2026, and if early planning is any indication, it is shaping up to be an absolute banger.

People keep asking why Warren would host a festival for the world’s coolest two percenters, and the answer is easy. Someone finally said what everyone else was thinking: if any city is going to throw a party for redheads, it should be Warren. With Urban Tap as festival headquarters and Downtown Warren as the backdrop, the event gives people a reason to come together, enjoy the city, and celebrate the rarest hair color on the planet.
