What is the Redhead Festival?

The Red Head Festival exists for one simple reason. Redheads are two percent of the global population, yet roughly ninety eight percent of the jokes. Warren decided to flip the script and celebrate the group most likely to carry SPF 100 in their glove compartments. This festival brings people together around humor, heritage, and community pride, with enough whimsy to remind everyone that downtown events can be both meaningful and fun.

When will the Redhead Festival begin?

The Red Head Festival will be held on May 16, 2026. The event will begin at 11:00am and run through 10:00pm.

Where will the Redhead Festival be held?

The redhead festival will be held at Urban Tap Distillery & Restaurant - 439 E Market St, Warren, OH 44481. There will be space indoors, but the music and activities will be held on the grounds of Urban Tap.

Why Warren?

Why not? Downtown Warren has been coming back to life, and this festival gives people another reason to visit, stay, and explore. Urban Tap is our home base, with downtown bars, restaurants, and shops within walking distance of the fun. Think of it as a full city block of redhead appreciation and general mischief!

Who is it for?

This event is for redheads, people who wish they were redheads, the loyal friends who have spent years applying sunscreen to redheads and anyone in between. Kids get the daytime activities, adults get the evening programming, and everyone gets a good laugh at how seriously we take being unserious.

What should I expect?

Contests, themed activities, photo ops, fun facts you didn’t know you needed, and the kind of community centered programming that helps downtown Warren shine. Whether you want to compete for the “Most Freckles Per Square Inch” title or you just want to people watch, there’s plenty to do.

Who is organizing the Fest?

The Red Head Festival is locally organized, community driven, and run by people who care about two things: celebrating Warren and having a good time doing it. If you want to help out, partner with us, or pitch an idea that is only slightly chaotic, we’re all ears.
